RSK Group plc
RSK is one of the UK's leading environmental consultancy firms. Its chairman, Dr. Alan Ryder, lives in Ashton and has pledged his financial and technical backing for the project since its inception in November 2005. RSK is based in nearby Helsby and is providing mapping and GIS services and supplying skilled environmental scientists to advise the University teams and residents. RSK is also providing land in the village for tree planting, as part of its own Corporate Social Responsibility plans.

Technical communications company tes ltd was founded in Ashton by project coordinator, Garry Charnock and his wife, Anne. The company has since grown and relocated to rural offices in nearby Tattenhall from where it provides international communications services and consultancy to a range of business customers. The company is providing funding and communications support and organising press releases and activities.

Shell Global Solutions
Shell Global Solutions is located at the Cheshire Innovation Park (CIP), about four miles from Ashton. It is providing financial support for the project signage and bringing skilled staff and biofuel demonstrations to the January 26th project launch.
The organisation provides a wide range of research and development for the Shell Group and commercial services to industry at large. The CIP base also carries out research into biofuels development, engine and vehicle testing, and is one of the centres of excellence for the development of technologies to combat greenhouse gas emissions and reduce industry's energy costs.

M&M Communications
M&M Communications consultants is based in Ashton Hayes and provides public relations, design specialised and a full range of communications for the NHS. The company is providing project funding and communications assistance. M&M owners, Richard and Lynn May have lived in Ashton for over 20 years and are UK trustees of Indian charity SKCV , which rescues street children in India and provides them with a home and education in their residential villages

Global Technology Forum
Each year, the GTF organisation coordinates the ERTC (European Refinery Technology Conference) and other major international events. This year, GTF is helping to fund the project launch in return for strategic advice on climate change and global warming issues. GTF is based in Espsom, Surrey.

Legat Owen was established in 1986 and over the last 19 years has strategically expanded to provide a wide range of expertise across the whole spectrum of commercial property, encompassing industrial, offices, in and out of town retail, leisure and land. They are supporting the Ashton Hayes Going Neutral Project with a combination of finance and tree planting.

Okells
Okells nurseries is a 25-year old family run business located on the Tarvin-Duddon bypass (A41). They are supplying free trees for planting on the launch date and discount trees for our planting programme. They are specialists in heathers and alpines, selling over 2.5m plants annually. The company tries to source all its trees from within theUK and supplies garden centres, distributors, landscapers, local authorities and other nurseries. Okells has recently opened a thriving farm shop that specialises in local produce. Free nationwide delivery throughout the UK. 01829 741512.

Euro Tree Services
Is an Arboricultural Association approved contractor that also supplies arborist equipment at competitive prices. The company is offering to assist with tree planting and give other arboriculture advice. The Managing Director, Simon Walton, undertook a three year course of study in arboriculture at Merrist Wood Agricultural College, Guilford and worked for 1 year in Denmark and 18 months in Germany to develop his experience before starting the company in 1980. Euro Tree services is based at Pye Corner Farm, Manley, Cheshire and has a yard facility at Cronton near Widnes.
