Move over to green energy

You can help to reduce the nation's emissions by switching to green energy. It's simple to do and should not cost you any more than your current supply (sometimes a few pence!). But it means that money from your bills will go towards building new renewable energy sources.

Friends of the Earth has some useful advice and links for those wanting to switch but they think that action is needed at Government level. However, they recommend going to the green energy marketplace for advice on suppliers.

Get rid of you expensive old bulbs and move to low energy, low cost lighting

You can also compare tariffs on Uswitch website. Ecotricity is one provider and has a good website. Scottish Power is also a recognised provider of renewable or 'green' energy and nPower Juice supplies green energy at no extra cost.
